How I Create Each Piece
The traditional water marbling process, lovingly executed by hand
Prepare the Bath
I create a carefully thickened water solution that will support the floating pigments and allow them to spread beautifully across the surface.
Apply Colours
Specially prepared marbling paints are gently dropped onto the water surface, where they float and expand into mesmerising circles.
Create Patterns
Using traditional tools like combs, styluses, and brushes, I manipulate the floating colours into intricate swirls, feathers, and geometric designs.
Transfer to Paper
High-quality paper is carefully laid onto the water surface, capturing the floating design in a single, unrepeatable moment of transfer.
Rinse & Dry
The marbled paper is gently rinsed to remove excess solution, revealing the vibrant colours, then laid flat to dry completely.
Finish & Package
Once fully dry, each piece is pressed flat, inspected for quality, and carefully packaged to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
